Philmont Scout Ranch - 2005
The much anticipated trip to Philmont Scout Ranch is now history. Seven scouts and two very brave adults survived the treacherous 10-day hike through beautiful northern New Mexico. After some scraped skin, twisted limbs and a new car (ask Mr. Friend...), the scouts are back with some great stories to share. Some of the activities the scouts participated in were horseback riding, black powder gun shooting, horseshoe throwing, blacksmithing, candle making and many more, not to mention a trek through one of the most beautiful scenery you can imagine. Here are some highlights.
