50 is a member of the Verdugo Hills Council of the Boy Scouts
of America.

In the Beginning...
Troop 50 was started in April of 1999 by a group of 12 boys. Six of them are still active in our Troop today; Chris S., Chris K., Alex K., Jared S., Justin J. and John J. They decided to form their own Troop when they crossed the bridge from Pack 50.
Us Now...
Troop 50 currently has a registered membership of 36 scouts. As a troop, our emphasis is on diversity, which means we try to participate in a wide variety of activities. We feel that this offers our boys the opportunity to find their own talents and interests, which may lead to a future career or a lifelong hobby. This explains the large number of Merit Badges our scouts earn! Boy Scout is planned, scheduled and run by the boys. The adults are here to insure safety and to act as advisors and counselors. Our volunteer adult leaders are:

Attendance: Mrs. KnoppThe Troop meetings are held every Friday at VCS at 7:15pm. Parent meetings are held every last Monday of the month at VCS at 7:00pm.
