About Our Outings... As you can
see on our calendar, we have outings throughout the year. Information
is given out several weeks in advance, and sign-up/fee is usually
due a couple of weeks prior to the activity. Remember that for
traveling to and from an outing site, Class A uniform is mandatory.
You must always bring your Scout 10 Essentials:
The
10 Essentials (and
more)
pocket knife
first aid kit
extra clothing
rain gear
water (lots of
it)
flashlight
trail food
matches/fire starter
sun protection
map and compass
whistle
toilet paper
insect repellent
Tents and cooking
equipment are provided by the Troop. Food is usually prepared
"Patrol Style", which means each patrol will assign
a person responsible for planning, buying and cooking their food.
Don't forget to label all your belongings and minimize the number
of items you are carrying (stuff everything in a large duffel
bag).
